Pulling the reader into the story and characters lives and making them experience multiple emotions along side the story as it unfolds. Combing adventure, passion, spirit, sparks and fire, resulting in a perfect romance that keeps you turning pages from the beginning to the end.
I highly recommend this book and author to anyone who loves reading romance. Keeper shelf material all the way.

This is a fun novella in the haunted Castle Keyvnor series. There is a ghost in the story, but he's mostly helpful, unlike some of the other ghosts and people in the castle.
Devon Lancaster needs to find a wealthy heiress to marry to help him save his estate. What better place to find one than at the reading of a will? Jane Hawkins is the daughter of a vicar, just along to keep her friends company. What business does she have at the will reading in what is supposed to be a haunted castle? And she's definitely got no business falling for a handsome gentleman who is as handsome as the devil!
This was a quick read with a little suspense and danger. The romance sparked quickly, but I liked that they needed to prove they could trust each other before the final HEA.
Very sweet story of Jane Hawkins and Devon Lancaster. Jane, the only child of a vicar, has little to offer by way of dowry to a future mate. She is persuaded by her friend to go with her to the reading of the Will of the late Lord Banfield. While at the Castle Keyvnor Jane meets Devon Lancaster, known as the devil of Lancaster. Devon, looking for a wealthy wife, is extremely attracted to Jane. Along with a little “other-worldly” help the two discover their undeniable attraction to one another. Will Jane's lack of dowry come between them or will the mysteries that lay beneath the surface of the castles scary surface bring a happy surprise to their future? This gratifying but short drama was originally released as part of the Bedeviled Anthology. Michelle Willingham has a wonderful way with a story using unconventional pathways to bring us to a delightful end. - I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I am so happy I did.
Sorry, could not get past first 10 pages. Very badly written.
